Bank Apartments is a £1.2M new build, stone fronted building of 10 private apartments. The site was complicated by its position against the main road and the requirement to remove 1000 m3 of rock to form the footprint of the building.

 

The site was further complicated by houses and shops either side and a block of apartments above and behind the new building.

 

The project was completed on time and on budget.

Eyewitness Works is a £12.5M refurbishment and conversion of a group of old cutlery works into bespoke apartments along with a new build concrete framed block of apartments on the same site.

 

The existing buildings were in a very poor state and required extensive structural works before the conversion works could begin. All roofs were removed, repaired and in some cases reconfigured before being recovered.

 

All existing walls including the retained factory chimney were extensively repaired and the facades internally and externally were repaired and repointed before new windows were installed. Sheffield CC Conservation officers were involved in the process and approval of the new windows and façade repairs.

 

The new build block was upgraded to a concrete frame with exposed concrete soffits.

 

The development was handed over to the client as complete shells and structures (apart from two single storey lean to structures) to complete with the project on budget and with an anticipated completion date of April 2023.

Albert Works is a £1.8M refurbishment and rebuild of old silver smiths buildings into 20000ft2 of office space for a leading PR company. Sidney St is the following 3 phases of mixed new build and refurbishment/adaption to provide 78 high quality apartments and 7 unique commercial spaces with a build cost of £7.5M which was completed in December 2017 including the fit out of the fantastic Birdhouse Tea Bar and Kitchen. The project was delivered under budget and has already won one award with nominations for further awards already in the pipeline.
